STATE ISSUES CLINGING JELLYFISH WARNING FOR BARNEGAT BAY

Clinging jellyfish have made the Barnegat Bay their home so far this summer and various advisories have been issued by the state regarding the presence of the sea creatures.  Two people visiting Barnegat Bay were stung this month, and one victim needed morphine to control the pain.  The jellyfish are about the size of a dime and can sting at all stages of life.
