STATE GETS DOWNGRADED BY ANOTHER AGENCY

More bad news for the fiscal health of the state. S&P was the latest to downgrade the state’s debt rating. The company took the state down from AA- to A+. The bottom line is it costs more money for the state to borrow every time it is downgraded. Pension and debt service is the primary drivers of the state’s economic issues.
