STATE FREEZES SPENDING, INCLUDING HOMESTEAD REBATE PROGRAM

New Jersey has frozen nearly $1 billion in spending in order to keep the State afloat through the coronavirus crisis.  Among the big freezes…the popular Homestead Rebate Program, which provides tax relief to state residents.  The Motor Vehicle Commission is having approximately $84 million in spending frozen, for the time being.
