STATE DEMOCRATS INTRODUCE THEIR OWN BUDGET

New Jersey democratic leaders have introduced their own $34.8 billion budget in Trenton that puts more money into programs aimed to fight poverty.  The new budget is nearly the same amount as the budget introduced by Governor Christie.  The Assembly Budget Committee approved the plan, 9-4, along party lines.
