STATE CONSIDERS INCREASING TAX ON E-CIGARETTE

The taxes on e-cigarettes could be going up. The Christie administration is attempting to put the tax similar to that of regular cigarettes. The state Treasurer Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff said that they aren’t proven to be a “safe alternative to regular cigarettes.” New Jersey is ranked as the worst state in the country on anti-smoking programs, according to the American Lung Association.
