STATE BUDGET TOTALS NEARLY $45 BILLION, INCLUDES NO TAX HIKES

Governor Phil Murphy unveiled his new $44.8 billion state budget Tuesday, and it includes no increase in taxes.  The budget includes the State making the first full contribution to the pension system in decades, and includes over $4 billion in new spending.  Murphy has also not dropped existing taxes on cigarettes and other products.
