STATE BEACHES ARE IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE, DESPITE ROUGH SPRING

New Jersey’s beaches are in pretty good shape for the summer despite repeated nor’easters that chewed sand away from the coastline.  State officials held a press event on Wednesday and lauded the condition of the coastline.  Some communities conducted sand backpassing projects to move sand for resiliency and recreation, including North Wildwood and Avalon.
