STATE ASKS FOR EXTENSION TO FILE HURRICANE SANDY CLAIMS

Gov. Chris Christie has asked the Federal Emergency Management Agency for an extension to file flood insurance claims. The deadline to file is April 28. The governor is asking for the state’s third extension to file. The additional time is being requested so home owners have proper time to assess damage and properly document them.
