STABBING STEMS FROM TRAFFIC FIGHT IN MIDDLE TOWNSHIP

An argument began between occupants of two vehicles and ended with a stabbing. Middle Township Police say the two vehicles were stopped at the traffic light on the Parkway at Stone harbor Blvd. Both parties then traveled to the 7-Eleven where the argument continued and ultimately turned physical, resulting in one of the occupants being stabbed. The accused, Victor Sawaichi, 26 years of age from Cape May Court House, NJ, was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon a 2nd Degree Crime, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose a 3rd Degree Crime and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon a 4th Degree Crime. Victor Sawaichi was lodged in the Cape May County Jail on $100,000.00 full cash bail. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
