SPORTS: ST. JOE’S PLAYER GETS 10 TDS TO HONOR SHOOTING VICTIM

Jada Byers’ ten touchdowns in a St. Joseph’s win over Morris Catholic in a 76-22 playoff victory is not nearly as impressive as the reason he went for the record.  Byers said he wanted to set the record to honor ten year old Micah Tennant, who was shot to death last Friday while attending a Pleasantville football game.  Byers’ record is two better than the previous record of eight.
