SPORTS BETTING ON TRACK TO GET BALLOT QUESTION APPROVAL

A new poll says that sports betting is likely going to approved via a ballot question in November. The Rutgers-Eagleton poll says that 58 percent of state residents approve the measure. State lawmakers are asking the public if the state should change its constitution to allow for sports betting in Atlantic City. Federal judges say that the state needed to change its constitution first in order push a federal lawsuit to get sports betting ban overturned on the federal level.
