The Cape May County Special Services School District (CMCSSSD) Education Foundation is holding its 13th annual auction and dinner to benefit the children of the district on Friday, November 12, 2010. The public is invited to attend this special event that will take place at the Wildwoods Convention Center.
The evening will start at 7 p.m. with a cocktail reception that includes hors d’oeuvres and complimentary beer and wine until 8 p.m. followed by gourmet dining stations and delectable desserts created by the students of the Cape May County Special Services School District. There will be silent and live auctions plus music and dancing throughout the evening.
Also, “Take a Chance for Our Students” 50/50 raffle tickets are being sold for $50 each. 1st Prize is 20% of the proceeds, 2nd and 3rd prize winners each receive 10% of the proceeds and 4th and 5th place winners each receive 5 % of the proceeds. The drawing will be held at the auction but you need not be present to win.
Over the years, the community’s support has allowed the Education Foundation to finance a wheelchair accessible playground, special physical therapy equipment, and numerous staff-initiated mini-grants that make possible creative and innovative programs for the students of the district. These projects play an integral part in the development of the district’s special students into functional, productive members of our community.
The cost of the tickets for the dinner/auction which benefits the children of the Special Services School District is $65. For more information, to be a sponsor, to purchase a raffle or auction ticket, please call 463-6678 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
