SPECIAL ELECTION ON PARKING ISSUES IN CAPE MAY

Voters are heading to the polls today in Cape May. A special election is being held on two parking ordinances. The two ballot questions will include, whether meters should be installed in East Cape May, and whether angled parking would be put in for a portion of Beach Ave. to create additional parking spots. The Friends and Neighbors of East Cape May were the petitioners in each issue. After a brief legal battle, the election was allowed to go through. City Council had initially approved both measures.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
