SOMERS POINT VOTERS 'OK' SCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS

A referendum to raise money for school improvements in Somers Point was approved on Tuesday. Voters supported the measure 513 to 165. This will allow the school district to bond for the $3.4 million of the $5.7 million required to complete the project. Improvements will be going towards the three schools there, but include a new roof at the Jordan Road School.
