SOME CAPE MAY COUNTY SCHOOLS SHOW UP ON "NEEDS IMPROVEMENT" LIST

The state released a progress report of sorts on Wednesday for the schools that “need improvement” according to federal, “No Child Left Behind” standards. Cape May County schools were Richard M Teitelman, Sandman Consolidated, Maud Abrams, Middle Township High School, Wildwood High School, Wildwood Middle School, and Woodbine elementary. This data tells teachers early on that there is something going wrong, with time to fix the problem. The standards to pass “No Child Left Behind” continues to grow and is harder to maintain.
