NO SNOW IN SOUTH JERSEY EXPENSIVE FOR ONE COMMUNITY

logo_0Lower Township will have to pay comp time to police dispatchers and some other employees due to a state of emergency declared Wednesday by Governor Christie.  Township Manager Mike Voll tells Coastal Broadcasting that he contacted the governor’s office about the declaration, which by law, forces extra pay for some employees.  Problem is, there was no snow in our part of the state but the statewide declaration was made anyway.
