SINGLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT CA– USED BY HIGH SPEED IN SNOWY CONDITIONS

Hamilton Township Police say they had an accident in their community on Thursday, caused the snowy conditions. Andrew N. Silipigni, 38 year old from Egg Harbor City, was operating a red 1999 Ford F-350 on Cologne Avenue northbound near Lombard Street. The vehicle crossed over the southbound lane of Cologne Avenue and continued off the roadway via the southbound shoulder. Silipigni’s vehicle struck a utility pole causing heavy damage and leaving low hanging wires across the roadway. The cause of the crash was the vehicle being operated at an unsafe speed in snowy road conditions. Any charges are pending further investigation of the crash.
