SHOP WITH CASH? MERCHANTS IN NEW JERSEY MUST TAKE IT

Governor Phil Murphy has signed a bill into law that requires stores and restaurants in New Jersey to accept cash.  Some merchants only wanted to accept credit or another electronic payment, but no more.  New Jersey is only the second state to prevent businesses from refusing to take actual money.
