A ship was placed off the coast of Cape May to become a reef. The USS Arthur W. Radford was sunk on Tuesday. The USS Radford had been in Philadelphia after it wasn’t used over the past decade. It was first used in 1975 out of Norfolk, Va. Ships and subway cars have been used to create artificial reefs off of the state’s coast.
