SEPTEMBER 11 CEREMONY ANNOUNCED BY COUNTY

Cape May County logoThe Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders will hold Cape May County’s Ninth Annual September 11th Memorial Ceremony on Patriot Day, Saturday, September 11th  at 1 p.m. outside the front entrance of the County Administration Building. 

The Memorial Ceremony will be a solemn event hosted by the Board of Chosen Freeholders and featuring comments from area clergy and State Senator Jeff Van Drew.

Additionally, patriotic songs will be sung by Anna Negron, Miss Cape May County, the Cape May County Police Academy Basic Class will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Recruit Ceremonial Detail will provide the Color Guard.

The public is invited to attend this memorial service to pay tribute to the heroes of September 11, 2001.  For additional information visit capemaycountygov.net or call the Cape May County Communications Office at (609) 463-6678.
