A Superior Court Judge sentenced a New York man to six years in prison Friday for drug offenses, Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel announced.
Daniel Casazza, 51, of Staten Island, was sentenced in accordance with a May 21, 2011 plea agreement for distribution of Oxycodone in an amount over 1/2 ounce.
Prosecutor’s Office detectives arrested Daniel Casazza on Sept. 24, 2010 at a residence on South Delancy Place in Atlantic City following a three-month investigation. The defendant sold Oxycodone to an undercover detective in Somers Point and Atlantic City on at least six occasions. He was indicted on Dec. 9, 2010, according to Assistant Prosecutor Emily Bell, who represented the State.
