SENTENCING HANDED DOWN IN AGGRAVATED MANSLAUGHTER CASE

An Atlantic City man was sentenced to 16 1⁄2 years in prison for the fatal stabbing of another Atlantic City man in September of 2011. Back in Feb., Luis Lopez plead guilty to to first-degree aggravated manslaughter in connection with the fatal stabbing of Craig Giatto. He is subject to the No Early Release Act, meaning he must serve 85 percent of the sentence before parole becomes an option.
