SENTENCED: GOLDEN GETS NINE YEARS FOR DEADLY CRASH

A Philadelphia man who was responsible for the death an area 20-year-old was sentenced to nine years in jail. Nicholas Golden received the sentence in front of a packed court room on Wednesday. Golden is responsible for the death of Craig Lozier, the incident took place on Route 47 in 2008. Golden was high when he tried to pass a couple of vehicles but ended up hitting and ultimately killing Lozier, who was on a motorcycle. Golden must serve 85 percent of the sentenced before parole becomes an option. He is also going to serve five years for drug charges, but that sentence will run concurrent.
