SENATOR: NJ SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO CONDUCT ONLINE GAMING

A New Jersey state senator is trying to show the federal government why New Jersey should be able to offer internet gaming.  Democratic Senator Ray Lesniak has written to United States Attorney Eric Holder suggesting that New Jersey and other states should have the right to offer internet gaming in its own borders.  Lesniak says he’s prepared to introduce a new bill this fall that would eliminate some of the concerns expressed by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.  Other states are considering passing similar laws.
