SENATE PASSES IN-STATE TUITION RATES FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

In-state tuition rates for undocumented students is one step closer to being signed into law. The legislation would make New Jersey the 17th state in the nation to provide college access to undocumented students by allowing them to qualify for in-state tuition rates. The bill would take effect immediately. It now heads to Gov. Chris Christie’s desk for his signature.
