SEN. CODEY CALLS FOR FIRING OF RUTGERS ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

New Jersey State Senator Richard Codey says it’s time for Rutgers University Athletic Director Julie Hermann to be fired.  Codey wrote a letter to the President of the university, saying that there’s hardly been a moment without controversy under Hermann’s watch.  The latest was when Hermann told a class that she is happy that the Star Ledger newspaper was having financial difficulties and laid off a slew of reporters and other staff.
