SEA ISLE CITY BOULEVARD OFFICIALLY REOPENED

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Tuesday to mark the official opening of the new JFK Boulevard renovations at the entrance to Sea Isle City. City and Cape May County officials were on hand to mark the completion of the $3.8 million project, called Phase 3 of improvements to the area. The roadway was reduced from three lanes to two, with clearly marked turn lanes at intersections. Sidewalks along the corridor were widened and traffic signals timed to be more pedestrian friendly. The project was funded entirely by the federal government.
