SCAMMERS TRYING TO USE NJ LOTTERY TO GET BANK INFORMATION OR MONEY

Count the New Jersey lottery as among the way scammers are trying to use to get money out of people. The lottery sent out a warning on Tuesday saying that scammer want people to pay a processing fee or provide bank information to get lottery winnings. There was an email going around of someone posing as a NJ Lottery official trying to convince people that they won a lottery prize. Lottery officials say they will never ask for bank information or ask for a processing fee and only reach out for second chance drawings.
