SAM AZEEZ MAKES BIG DONATION TO STOCKTON COLLEGE

It became officials on Monday, Stockton College has an agreement with a museum in Woodbine. The story first broke last week, but a press conference was held on Monday to finalize the details. A $5 million gift was given to the school to create the Sam Azeez Museum of Woodbine Heritage Endowment Fund. Under terms of the gift, the Museum property, buildings and contents will be transferred to the College.  In addition to the collection currently housed in the building, there are more artifacts currently housed at the Philadelphia Jewish Archives as part of Temple University’s Urban Archives. As part of the agreement, Stockton will utilize the property and any improvements for the advancement of the Museum and its mission.
