ROUND 2 FOR OCEAN CITY’S ATTEMPT TO BUY FORMER CAR LOT

Ocean City will have a second attempt at buying the former Klause brothers car lot in the city.  Council introduced an ordinance that authorizes the governing body to get the lot through negotiations, or condemnation.  A taxpayers’ group shot down a previous attempt by the city to buy the lot, the price tag at the time, $9 million.
