ROLLINS HAS MRI ON STRAINED RIGHT CALF, STATUS UNKNOWN

The Philadelphia Phillies confirmed that their star shortstop is banged up and are awaiting test results. General Manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said that Rollins suffered a strained right calf, and that was the reason he missed Monday’s game against Washington. An MRI was performed at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Team officials have been meeting and an official decision on his status will be released on Wednesday.
