RIGHT NOW, FLORENCE EXPECTED TO BE AN INLAND STORM AFTER MAKING LANDFALL

Right now Hurricane Florence is expected to produce more problems inland south of New Jersey than along our coastline.  The latest track has the storm being a Category 3 before it makes landfall along the southern coastline of North Carolina, probably on Thursday.  The Cape May County Office of Emergency Management held a conference call with municipal partners Monday morning to discuss the storm.
