RIBBON CUTTING SET FOR NEXT PHASE OF BIKE PATH IN MIDDLE TOWNSHIP

middle township logoMiddle Township will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, July 11th at 3:45 p.m. at the Main Street & Pennsylvania Avenue junction of the Township’s bicycle path. The event celebrates the completion and grand opening of the path’s Phase 4, which extends between Indian Trail and Main Street. Funding has been secured to complete Phase 5, which will extend the bicycle path to Satt Boulevard, where the Middle Township/Lower Township connector project ends. Additionally, the Cape May County Open Space Board has recommended $412,311 in funding to extend the bicycle path south to the Cape May Lewes Ferry Terminal. The project has received a total of $1.75 million in grant funding.
