REPUBLICANS PREPARE TO CHANGE ADVISORY BOARD IN LOWER

An ordinance to revise the Mayor’s Advisory Board in Lower Township has been tabled, but will be reviewed at the next meeting. It was added to the agenda late on Monday, and because of complaints by Mayor Mike Beck and Councilman Erik Simonsen over the lateness of the addition, it will be reviewed at the next council meeting. The plan by the Republicans is to make it a 10 member board, with each council member getting two members each. The name of the board would also be changed.
