WILDWOOD MAY CONSIDER BEACH FEES

Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano is publicly talking about the possibility that the city may someday charge beach fees.  Troiano brought up the possibility of charging beach fees during the city commission meeting on July 13th.  Troiano says it may be time for the new city commission to explore what beach tags could do, or not do, for the city of Wildwood.  Wildwood, North Wildwood, and Wildwood Crest do not charge beach fees while many other beach communities in New Jersey charge fees to use the beach.  Under state law, monies derived from beach fees must be used for beach-related expenses.
