REPORT: USPS COULD TRIM MAIL SERVICE

Mail delivery could be down to five days a week. The AP reports that President Barack Obama has said he believes that the United States Postal Service should be allowed to trim its service days in order to cut its losses. Last year alone, the USPS lost $8.5 billion. The Post Office is looking for a restructuring plan that will allow it to become financial solvent. A round of office closings and layoffs have been introduced in order to cut its deficit.
