REPORT: UPPER TOWNSHIP AGAIN DISCUSSES CUTS TO BUDGET

The Upper Township Committee again worked on its budget during its meeting Monday night.  The Upper Township Gazette reports that the Committee trimmed $37,000 from public works and recreation, but held back on more potential cuts.  The Committee did not cut funding earmarked to maintain older rear loading trash trucks since new automated trucks are being put into service.  Residents will soon get trash containers to accommodate the new automated trucks in the coming weeks.
