REPORT: TOWNS LATE ON SENDING TAX BILLS OUT

Many municipalities are being held up after the state came in late with aid numbers. The Star-Ledger reports that despite the state hitting its July 1 goal of setting a new budget, state aid numbers were not made available until the end of July. Many towns have mailed out tax bills late and will be delayed in receiving new tax funds in the door.
