REPORT: TOLL COLLECTORS OFFER PAY CUT TO KEEP JOBS

A new report says toll collectors on the Garden State Parkway are offering a pay cut to keep their job. The Star-Ledger has the report that the union is trying to ensure that jobs aren’t privatized. The contract for the union expires as of June 30. The Turnpike Authority was looking to get a five-year contract for the work, instead of keeping the union on board.
