REPORT: TERM LIMITS COULD BE INTRODUCED TO ATLANTIC CITY CASINO WORKERS

A new report says you may be limited in the amout of time you can work at one Atlantic City casino. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the Revel Casino is going to create what essentially can be called “term limits.” At the end of the term, employees would have to be reconsidered to be hired. The terms range around five years and mostly deal with employees that have customer contact, like bell hops, waitresses, and card dealers. The report says local union leaders are very unhappy with this proposed policy. The Revel Casino is scheduled to open by the summer of 2012.
