REPORT: TAXES GOING DOWN IN WEST CAPE MAY

The tax rate will be going down in West Cape May this year.  Thanks to revenue generated from the sale of a liquor license, the tax rate in West Cape May is expected to dip by a penny and half this year, according to a report in the Press of Atlantic City.  A budget work session was held Wednesday evening and officials were able to reduce the tax rate.  Officials say even without the liquor license sale the tax rate was going to decline thanks to a drop in debt service.
