REPORT: STONE HARBOR COPS WRITE UP DOG VIOLATIONS

The Stone Harbor Police Department has handed out ten violation notices to people who had their dogs unleashed on local beaches during the evening hours.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that people in Stone Harbor are now taking advantage of new regulations that permit dogs on the beach after 7pm.  However, the police department issued ten violation warnings because dogs were unleashed.  Stone Harbor has abandoned an ordinance that prohibited dogs from being on the beach during the busy summer months; now, the leashed dogs are allowed on the beach from 7pm until dusk.
