REPORT: STILL NO BUDGET INTRODUCTION IN WILDWOOD

Mayor-Ernie-TroianoJr.Wildwood is traditionally one of the final communities in our region to introduce a municipal budget, and that trend will continue this year.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that city officials are not yet prepared to introduce a municipal budget due to a search for new revenues and a drop in ratables.  Wildwood Commissioner Pete Byron said the city was counting on some new revenue from special event fees that will not materialize.  Mayor Ernie Troiano says its possible the budget won’t be introduced until June, even though the state mandates adoption by April 25th.
