REPORT: STATE DOT HEAD TO STEP DOWN IN JUNE

James_S_Simpson_Federal_Transit_Administrator_2006A new report says Department of Transportation head Jim Simpson is looking to leave the job next month. Northjersey.com was the first to report, though no officials have confirmed the story on the record as of yet. According to the report, Simpson’s last day would be June 6. Simpson was instrumental in moving South Jersey projects along, like the Garden State Parkway traffic light removal.
