REPORT: PENSION REFORM COULD BE IN THE FUTURE

The Star-Ledger reports that Senate President Steve Sweeney is going to push for pension reform by the end of June. The end of June is when the legislature typically recesses for the summer. Sweeney needs to find enough Democrats to give the Republicans the vote necessary to pass the legislation. The report suggests Sweeney has secured the votes necessary.
