REPORT: PARKING GARAGE TO BE CONSIDERED IN CAPE MAY AGAIN

Cape May city officials are again thinking about a parking garage to help solve the parking woes in the city.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that leaders are putting the concept of a parking garage back on the front burner for consideration now that the economy has somewhat rebounded.  Mayor Ed Mahaney believes any parking garage would have to be located near the Washington Street Mall, involve a public/private partnership, and include some retail shops.
