REPORT: OYSTER CREEK BEGINS SHUTDOWN OF PLANT, TO LAYOFF WORKERS

Layoffs will begin in about three weeks at the Oyster Creek nuclear power plant in New Jersey, which is being shut down.  NJ.com reports that 84 workers will be let go by June 22nd.  The remaining 400 employees will remain to assist with the decommissioning process.
