REPORT: OCEAN CITY ASKS STATE TO WIPE OUT LIFEGUARD PENSIONS

Some members of the Ocean City Council want the state to consider eliminating pensions for lifeguards in New Jersey.  The Ocean City Gazette reports that Council approved a resolution last week that asks state lawmakers to consider the elimination of pensions for new lifeguards.  Ocean City, and other beach towns, fund lifeguard pensions because they have to, under state law.
