REPORT: OCEAN CITY ALLOWS CONDOS AT WAWA SITE

The Ocean City Council met Thursday night and introduced an ordinance that will permit the construction of condos where an empty Wawa convenience store sits. The Press of Atlantic City reports that city council introduced an ordinance that will allow six condos to be built at the former Wawa site, located at Fourth and Haven Avenues. That convenience store has been closed for two years, and council members do not want to see blight in that neighborhood. Two council members voted against the ordinance.
