REPORT: NUNS MAY KNOCK DOWN LONGTIME RETREAT HOUSE

The longstanding St. Mary By the Sea Retreat House in Cape May Point could be meeting the wrecking ball soon.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that the Sisters of St. Joseph nuns have announced that the retreat house could be knocked down with the land returned to nature by 2021.  The congregation says it will work with a law firm to seek out preservation and conservation organizations that would be interested in buying the land.
